About 100 years ago missionaries went to the distant corners of the planet to carry the message of the Gospel to remote tribes. In the 21 century we are dealing with a different situation. Many people groups have been reached but we find that in the "Christian West" a generation has grown up who doesn't know anything about Christianity short of father christmas and the easter bunny. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10v.17 Media habits have changed dramatically in the last ten years. My generation grew up with three TV channels and two or three radio channels which were government controlled. Now we are looking at several hundred TV channels, hundreds of radio channels and an innumerable amount of media outlets on the Internet. The TV screen has been changed for the PC monitor and the radio has been replaced with the smartphone. For us as Christians there is a huge window of opportunity which is wide open to fill the Internet with a Christian media presence which is relevant to the target audience.
